What data do I need to start with process mining?

A case ID, an activity, and a timestamp. These three columns are enough to discover your process, and extra columns such as resource or cost add context to the analysis.

How is process mining different from simulation?

Process mining looks backward: it analyzes historical event data to show what happened. Simulation looks forward: it runs virtual process executions to predict what will happen, so you can test changes before making them.

Where do I see the mined process?

Mining produces a discovered process graph: activities, connections, and flow metrics based on your data. The Process Graph menu explains how to read it, and Process Analytics covers health, variants, and filters.

Which ProcessMind track covers process mining?
