ProcessMind 2026.09

This is the largest ProcessMind release we have ever shipped. It rebuilds the platform around the three stages of process management: Foundation (model and collaborate), Architecture (own and govern), and Intelligence (mine and improve). Whatever stage your organization is in, this release moves you forward.

Process Foundation: Model, Collaborate, and Catalog

Everything you need to capture how work actually happens:

  • Modern BPMN 2.0 modeling with the Auto Layout Engine, real-time collaboration, versioning, and one-click exports to BPMN and PNG
  • The modeling experience received major polish across the board, including vertical swimlanes
  • The Process Catalog / Library to keep every model findable and organized
  • AI process generation from a plain-language description, included in Process Foundation

Process Architecture: Own, Govern, and Publish

For organizations that need one current, approved version of every process:

  • Process landscape and architecture hierarchies that mirror how your organization is structured
  • Value stream mapping, RACI modeling, and process quality checks
  • Governance workflows with drafts, review, and publishing, plus full audit logs and role-based access control
  • Process documentation generated from your models, organized into sections, and exported or printed
  • The Interactive Process Portal, so non-modelers can find published processes and bookmarked views without ever opening the modeler, with free viewer seats included on every paid seat

Process Intelligence: Mine, Simulate, and Improve

The analysis experience has been rebuilt around questions, not settings:

  • Process mining and automatic process discovery: see how your processes really run
  • Process simulation and animation to test changes before you make them
  • Operational intelligence dashboards with Process Health Scores
  • Process variant analysis and process compare for every analyst
  • AI-powered process insights that explain what your data is telling you

Adjusted Pricing

ProcessMind now sells per-seat, per-month subscriptions, and you can mix seat tiers freely inside one organization: a Foundation seat for the analyst documenting processes, an Architecture seat for the process owner, an Intelligence seat for the mining team, side by side with no minimums. Viewer seats stay free for the rest of your team, annual billing saves 15%, and existing customers keep their current features while moving to the new structure when it suits them.

API & Integrations

The REST API has expanded far beyond import and export: process, tenant, search, simulation, and webhook endpoints are now available for deep integration. We also ship an MCP server (Enterprise) so your AI tooling of choice can work with your ProcessMind data directly.

A New Help Center

Documentation has been reorganized by task: Get Started, Process Catalog & Modeling, Architecture & Governance, Data & Dashboards, Mining & Simulation, Administration, and Developers. Feature pages now carry plan-tier badges, and three learning tracks guide you: Foundation, Architecture, and Intelligence.

An Early Look: the AI Assistant

A first version of the AI Assistant is included: it can generate models, documentation and RACI proposals in plain language, and every change is presented as a proposal you review before applying, so you stay in control. It is still learning, and it will improve with every release. We are honest about that. Give it a try, and tell us where it falls short.

What’s Next

We are not slowing down. The Roadmap 2026-2027 shows where the platform goes next: self-service onboarding, operational intelligence, out-of-the-box analysis, and continuous improvement loops. If something in this release doesn’t work the way you expect, we want to know. Reach out to us.
