Dataset - Activities
The Dataset Activities screen allows you to view, map, rename, and manage the visibility of activities in your uploaded dataset. This section plays a crucial role in configuring the data used for Process Mining analysis.

Dataset Activities Section
This section provides the following features for configuring activities in your dataset:
1. Name
- This column lists the activity names that will be used in Process Mining.
- By default, the activity names are automatically populated from the dataset but can be edited as necessary.
- Example: Activities like “Block Purchase Order Item,” “Book Invoice,” “Change Price.”
2. Name in Source
- This column shows the corresponding activity name as it appears in the original dataset.
- You can map or rename activities by selecting a different value from the dropdown.
- Example: The activity name “Delete Purchase Order Item” can be mapped from another column in the dataset.
3. Visible
- This column determines whether the activity will be visible in the final analysis.
- A green check mark indicates that the activity is visible and will be used during process analysis.
- If an activity is irrelevant or not required, you can toggle its visibility.
4. Has Data
- This column shows whether there is valid data for the activity in the dataset.
- A green check mark indicates that data exists for the activity and is available for analysis.
Key Actions
Map Activities:
- You can map activities to different columns in the dataset by clicking on the dropdown under the Name in Source column. This is useful if your dataset contains multiple possible representations of the same activity.
Rename Activities:
- Edit the Name column to rename activities to more meaningful or recognizable terms that match your organizational process terminology.
Enable/Disable Activities:
- Toggle the green check marks under the Visible column to enable or disable activities from being included in the analysis.
Final Steps
- After configuring the activities, ensure that the correct mapping, naming, and visibility settings are applied.
- Once satisfied, you can move to the next tab (such as Data or Process Mining) to complete the dataset configuration.
By configuring the activities in this way, you ensure that your Process Mining analysis is tailored to the specific events and activities relevant to your dataset.
