Architecture Path

This path is for process architects and transformation managers who want to connect and govern the process landscape. You’ll organize processes into a hierarchy, assign ownership, attach documentation, and give your organization an interactive portal on the Process Architecture seat and above.

1. Prepare Your Organization

Start by creating your account and completing onboarding. Then review your organization settings, invite your team, and set up organization roles.

2. Define Your Process Architecture

The Process Architecture page is the backbone of your process landscape:

  • Configure architecture levels: define your levels (for example, Enterprise Value Stream → Process → Subprocess) and the documentation sections each level must carry.
  • Organize processes into the hierarchy so every process has a home and a clear scope.
  • Model high-level value streams with Value Stream Mapping.

3. Assign Ownership with Roles & RACI

Every process needs an owner. Use Roles & RACI to:

  • Build a role library for your organization.
  • Assign Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed parties to tasks.
  • Use the AI role generator to draft assignments quickly.

4. Document and Attach Artifacts

Attach context to your processes with process documentation and artifacts. Export professional documents (Word, PDF, Markdown, and print) for stakeholders.

5. Set Up Governance and Publishing

Control the process lifecycle with governance and publishing: review and approval workflows, statuses, and controlled publishing. Keep models healthy with Model Quality.

6. Launch the Process Portal

When processes are published, your organization gets an interactive process portal: a read-only, searchable view of your process landscape that every employee with access can use.
