Single Sign-On (SSO) with ProcessMind

ProcessMind SSO Integration Guide

ProcessMind offers Single Sign-On (SSO) through three identity providers: Microsoft, Google, and LinkedIn. Users sign in with their existing account for that provider, so there is no separate ProcessMind password to manage. ProcessMind only receives the data needed to identify the account.

ProcessMind Login / Sign-In with SSO

How SSO Works in ProcessMind

When a user signs in with SSO, the identity provider (Microsoft, Google, or LinkedIn) handles authentication. After a successful login, ProcessMind captures the user’s email address, first name, and last name to identify the account.

On the first login, the user is prompted to confirm their First Name and Last Name to complete their profile. ProcessMind also captures the user’s profile picture; no other information is collected from the identity provider.

Sign In with an SSO Provider

The flow is the same for all three providers:

  1. On the ProcessMind login screen, click the button for your provider: Microsoft, Google, or LinkedIn.
  2. You are redirected to the provider’s login page. Enter your credentials if prompted.
  3. Grant ProcessMind access to your basic profile information (your email address).
  4. You are redirected back to ProcessMind. On your first login, confirm your First Name and Last Name to complete your profile.

Data Collected from the Identity Provider

  • Your email address, first name, last name, and profile picture are captured from the identity provider to identify you within ProcessMind.
  • Your profile picture is used as the initial image for your avatar, and you can change it later in your user settings.
  • No other information is collected.

Privacy and Data Protection

When logging in through SSO with Microsoft, Google, or LinkedIn:

  • Your email address, first name, last name, and profile picture are captured from the identity provider to uniquely identify you within ProcessMind.
  • After the first login, you are prompted to confirm your First Name and Last Name to complete your profile.
  • No other personal information, such as contact lists or demographic data, is retrieved from the identity providers.

Why Use SSO

  • No separate password: Users sign in with their existing Microsoft, Google, or LinkedIn credentials.
  • Managed authentication: Password security is handled by the identity provider.
  • Minimal setup: No additional login details to remember after the initial profile setup.
