Consistent, complete process models are easier to read, simulate, and govern. ProcessMind checks the quality of your models and shows the result as a quality badge directly on the canvas, so you can spot and fix issues while you model.

The Quality Badge

  • The badge appears on the model canvas and shows the overall quality of the current model as a percentage score.
  • The score is color-coded in five bands: from excellent (top band) down to critical (bottom band), with good, fair, and weak in between.
  • Open the badge to see the list of checks, the score per check, and the details of each issue.
  • The badge updates as you model, so you can see the impact of your changes immediately.

What the Checks Cover

Quality checks look at common modeling problems, such as:

  • Unconnected elements: activities or gateways that are not properly connected.
  • Missing labels: elements without a clear name.
  • Unbalanced gateways: splits that do not have matching joins.
  • Missing documentation or roles: processes without the required documentation or RACI assignments.

Improving Model Quality

  1. Open the quality badge to see the list of issues.
  2. Click an issue to navigate to the element that needs attention.
  3. Fix the problem: the badge updates as you work.
  4. Run the checks again to confirm the model is clean.

Quality in Governance

Quality matters most before publishing. Use the quality badge as part of your governance workflow: a published process should carry a clean quality badge so viewers in the Process Portal always see models that are complete and consistent.
