Troubleshooting Clipboard Access for Copy-Paste Functionality

Why is copy-paste not working in my browser / Clipboard error?

Our app uses the clipboard to store and retrieve information for copy-paste functionality. However, some browsers may block clipboard access for security reasons or due to browser settings.

How to Enable Clipboard Permissions in Your Browser

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three vertical dots (menu) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
  2. Navigate to Privacy and Security > Site Settings.
  3. Under Permissions, click on Clipboard.
  4. Find your ProcessMind URL in the list and set it to Allow.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three horizontal dots (menu) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
  2. Go to Cookies and site permissions.
  3. Scroll down and click on Clipboard.
  4. Locate your ProcessMind URL and choose Allow.

Apple Safari

  • Safari’s clipboard access is more restrictive and doesn’t offer a direct setting to manage clipboard permissions. Clipboard access is generally allowed only during direct user interactions, such as clicking a button.
  • Ensure you’re using the latest version of Safari, as updates may enhance clipboard functionality.
