Well-documented processes are easier to follow, audit, and improve. Open a process and switch to the Documentation tab to write documentation that stays connected to your models, roles, and governance workflows, so your documents never drift from the actual process.

The Documentation Tree

  • Each process has a doc tree that organizes its documentation into sections.
  • The tree follows the structure of your process architecture, so documentation and hierarchy stay in sync.
  • Add, rename, and reorder sections to match your organization’s documentation standard.

Configuring Sections

  • Choose which sections every document includes, such as Description, Scope, Roles, Goals, and Governance.
  • Configure section templates once at the environment level, so every new document starts from the same structure.
  • Add custom sections for organization-specific content.

The RACI Matrix in Documentation

  • Documentation automatically includes the RACI matrix for the process.
  • As you assign roles to activities, the matrix updates in the document.
  • Readers see exactly who is responsible and accountable for every step.

Enriching Documentation

Attach artifacts (templates, policies, or images) to any section, and review everything together in the governance workflow before publishing.
