Manual for Dataset Data Screen

The Dataset Data screen provides a preview of the loaded data in a table format. This preview helps you understand how your data will be interpreted and used within the Process Mining analysis. In future updates, this screen will include additional features for updating and modifying the data directly.

Dataset Data Section

This section displays the actual dataset in a tabular form, showing a preview of how the data will be processed:

1. Column Names

  • The table shows three main columns:
    • ACTIVITY: The activities or events captured in the dataset.
    • Case ID: Unique identifiers for each process instance or case in the dataset.
    • EVENTTIME: Timestamps indicating when each activity occurred.

2. Data Preview

  • The data rows show the actual contents of your dataset. For example:
    • ACTIVITY: Includes actions like “Scan Invoice,” “Send Purchase Order,” and “Receive Goods.”
    • Case ID: Numeric identifiers for different cases (e.g., “1116788”, “1116789”).
    • EVENTTIME: Timestamps indicating when the activity was performed (e.g., “9 Aug 2016 02:00”).

3. Data Structure

  • The table provides a structured overview of the dataset, helping you verify whether the correct data is loaded and aligned with the column names (Activity, Case ID, Event Time).
  • This preview is useful for ensuring the dataset is ready for Process Mining analysis.

Future Updates

In future versions, this screen will include more functionality, such as the ability to:

  • Modify data directly: You will be able to edit or update the data from within this screen.
  • Apply filters: Filter the dataset based on specific criteria like activity type, case ID, or time.
