Foundation Path

This path is for business analysts, process designers, and modelers who want to document and standardize how work happens. Whether you are a designer, a modeler, or an analyst, you’ll go from an empty workspace to a published, professional process model, with AI assistance along the way.

1. Create Your Account

Start by creating your account and completing onboarding. You’ll be up and running in minutes with a free trial.

2. Meet the Process Catalog

The Process Catalog is your home base. It shows every process in your organization (as a tree, cards, or list) with folders, search, and filters. Create a folder for your team and start a new process.

3. Build Your First Model

The wizard offers four starting points:

  • Process Modeling: import an existing BPMN model, generate one with AI, or start from an empty canvas.
  • Process Mining: upload event data and let ProcessMind discover the model for you.
  • Generate Process and Simulate data: explore a sample process with simulated data and ready-made dashboards.
  • Build my process architecture: set up your organization’s process landscape and roles with AI.

4. Collaborate with Your Team

Process design is a team sport. Use comments and mentions to discuss elements, and share the model so reviewers can contribute before you finalize it.

5. Publish and Export

When your model is ready:

  • Export and share to BPMN or PNG.
  • Publish the process so your organization can view it. Publishing and governance come with the Process Architecture seat: see the Architecture path.
