Process Bookmarks

What are Process Bookmarks?

Process Bookmarks let you save specific views of your process, including all filters and settings. This makes it easy to return to a particular analysis setup or share it with your team.

Creating a Bookmark

To create a bookmark:

  1. Set up your process view with the desired filters and settings.
  2. Click the hamburger menu on the top right of your canvas and select Bookmark Dashboard.
  3. The name of the process will be automatically used as the bookmark name.

Your bookmark is now saved in the Bookmark List, which you can access from the left icon sidebar.

Updating Bookmarks

To update a bookmark:

  1. Open the Bookmark List from the left icon sidebar, or just open the process dashboard associated with your bookmark.
  2. Make all changes to the dashboard, view, or filters as needed.
  3. Go to your Bookmark List and find the bookmark you want to update.
  4. Click the Edit icon next to the bookmark and click Update Bookmark.

Your bookmark is now updated with the latest changes.

Managing Bookmarks

To manage your bookmarks:

  • View Bookmarks: Open the Bookmark List from the left icon sidebar to see all your saved bookmarks.
  • Delete Bookmarks: Click the Delete icon next to a bookmark in the Bookmark List to remove it.
  • Organize Bookmarks: You can drag and drop bookmarks in the list to reorder them. You can also create folders and sub-folders in the list by clicking on the […] next to the bookmark.
  • Search Bookmarks: Use the search bar at the top of the Bookmark List to quickly find a specific bookmark.
  • Rename Bookmarks: Click the Edit icon next to a bookmark […] in the Bookmark List to rename it.
  • Share Bookmarks: Click the Edit icon next to a bookmark […] in the Bookmark List to reveal a menu entry Share Link. This will generate a link you can share with others in your organization who have access to the dashboard.

If you have multiple bookmarks saved for a process, you can also add them to your dashboard so you can easily switch between views and filter settings. To do this, use the Share Link option and copy the URL into a TextChart with the following example code:

Bookmarks:
[Name of the Bookmark](https://your.processmind.url/bookmark/12345)
[Name of the Bookmark1](https://your.processmind.url/bookmark/67892)

The system will automatically create a button that links to the bookmark, making it easy to switch between views and filter settings.
