Prerequisites: Zorg ervoor dat Python is geïnstalleerd, samen met de pyrfc en pandas libraries. U heeft ook de SAP NWRFC SDK libraries nodig, geïnstalleerd en toegankelijk in het pad van je systeem.
ABAP Development: Werk samen met een ABAP developer om een custom RFC-enabled Functie Module te creëren in uw SAP ECC systeem met behulp van transactie SE37. Een geschikte naam zou Z_PM_GET_INVENTORY_LOG zijn.
Definieer Functie Module Interface: Definieer in de function module import parameters om de data te filteren, zoals I_DATE_FROM en I_DATE_TO voor de date range, en optionele parameters voor I_PLANT of I_COMPANY_CODE. Definieer een export table parameter, bijvoorbeeld E_T_EVENT_LOG, met een structuur die overeenkomt met de vereiste output kolommen (InventoryBatchLot, ActiviteitNaam, EventTime, MaterialNumber, vestiging, etc.).
Implementeer ABAP Logic: De ABAP code binnen de function module moet de kern data-extractie uitvoeren. Het zal data selecteren uit verschillende tabellen, waaronder MKPF, MSEG, QALS, QAVE, LTBK, LTAP, IKPF, ISEG en VEKP. De code moet elk van de 15 vereiste business activiteiten vinden, de data formatteren in de doelstructuur en elk record toevoegen aan de export table E_T_EVENT_LOG. Dit omvat het schrijven van afzonderlijke SELECT statements voor elke activity en deze samenvoegen tot een enkele result set.
Creëer Python Script: Ontwikkel een Python script om verbinding te maken met SAP en de nieuw gecreëerde RFC Functie Module aan te roepen.
Configureer SAP Connectie: Specificeer in uw Python script de connection parameters voor uw SAP ECC systeem, inclusief application server, system number, client, user en password. Gebruik een veilige methode voor het afhandelen van credentials.
Roep RFC aan en Haal Data op: Gebruik de pyrfc.Connection class om een connection met SAP tot stand te brengen. Roep de remote function aan met connection.call() en geef de gewenste date range en filters als parameters door. De functie retourneert de opgehaalde data.
Transformeer Data met Pandas: De pyrfc library retourneert doorgaans data als een lijst van dictionaries. Converteer deze data naar een Pandas DataFrame voor eenvoudigere manipulatie en analyse.
Data Formatting: Controleer de datatypen van de DataFrame. Zorg ervoor dat EventTime in een juist timestamp format is, en dat numerieke velden zoals AantalInBaseUnit correct getypt zijn. De ABAP functie zou idealiter de samenvoeging voor InventoryBatchLot (Material Number en Batch Number) moeten afhandelen.
Exporteer Event Log: Sla de uiteindelijke, opgeschoonde DataFrame op in een CSV file met behulp van de to_csv() methode. Dit bestand is nu klaar om te worden geüpload naar ProcessMind.

Configuratie

RFC Functie Module Naam: De naam van de custom ABAP function module die is aangemaakt in SAP ECC, bijvoorbeeld Z_PM_GET_INVENTORY_LOG. Dit is de centrale component van de extractie.
Date Range Parameters: De function module moet import parameters bevatten zoals I_DATE_FROM en I_DATE_TO om de extractie te beperken tot een specifieke periode. Een bereik van 3 tot 6 maanden wordt over het algemeen aanbevolen voor een initiële analyse.
Data Filtering: Om prestaties en data volume te beheren, voegt u optionele import parameters toe aan de function module voor filtering op vestiging (WERKS), StorageLocation (LGORT), en Company Code (BUKRS).
Python Environment: Een Python 3 omgeving met de pyrfc en pandas libraries is vereist. De SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK moet worden gedownload van het SAP support portal en de library files moeten toegankelijk zijn voor het Python script.
SAP Authorizations: Het SAP user account dat wordt gebruikt voor de RFC connection heeft autorisaties nodig voor object S_RFC met RFC_TYPE = FUGR en RFC_NAME die overeenkomt met de function group van uw custom module. De gebruiker heeft ook display access nodig tot alle onderliggende tabellen die door de functie worden opgevraagd, zoals MSEG, MKPF, LTAP, QALS, etc.
