Our story starts with Christiaan and Roel as bright-eyed technologists working for separate companies, both acting as OEM vendors (basically, renting out their expertise) in the Process Mining space. They recognized the potential of this new technology, but something was missing – the tools were clunky and lacked the user-friendliness of a superhero’s utility belt.

Fate intervened, as it so often does in epic tales. Christiaan and Roel crossed paths, and a spark ignited. They realized that together, they could build something better. Thus, ProcessGold was born. A deal was struck in October 2019, and ProcessGold became part of the UiPath family. It wasn’t without its challenges, but the combined power of Process Mining and RPA created a platform unlike any other. Christiaan and Roel, ever the restless innovators, stayed on for 4+ years to make sure the product was well integrated into the UiPath Discovery Platform, but the entrepreneurial itch never truly went away.

In January 2024, a new chapter began. Christiaan and Roel, forever bound by their shared passion for process optimization, decided to join forces once again. This time, their brainchild was ProcessMind, a brand new venture aimed at pushing the boundaries of the Process Analytics landscape.

ProcessMind promises to be the next evolution in the superhero origin story of Christiaan and Roel. With their combined experience and the ever-evolving world of technology at their fingertips, they’re set to tackle the challenges of Process Mining in innovative ways, like wielding Process Design, and Process Simulation to provide deeper insights based on data and human knowledge.
