In ProcessMind, you can begin your process improvement journey by either uploading your data to generate a model automatically, or by building a new model from scratch. If you choose to start from scratch, you can manually add steps and activities, or even import an existing BPMN model that can be enhanced with additional data. With a simple drag-and-drop interface, you can easily establish relationships between activities and data from our processmining engine and overlaying them with information like charts, filters and other metrics.

For this guide, we will start with a blank model and incorporate data from the previously uploaded dataset .

Step 1: Create a new model

To begin a new process with a blank canvas, click the “Start a New Process Model” button. This will open a new model with an empty canvas.

Step 2: Attache the data

You have now opened the modeler, where you can design and enhance your process with data. To link the uploaded dataset to your model, click the ”+” button located in the top-right corner of the modeler. This will open a dialog where you can choose the dataset you’d like to attach.
